Free Lunch??? (part 1)

Hello, dear friends! In a kingdom far-far away once lived a king. The king loved his kingdom and allowed the people to meet with him and share their lives while asking him all the questions they wanted answered. To ensure he had all the answers, the king asked his wise men to write up all the possible questions with their answers for him to have.

The wise men worked diligently on the project. After a while they presented the king with the result – it was a gigantic book, hundreds of thousands of pages. While impressed with it, the king realized he won't be able to find answers in this huge book just because it is enormous and thus, not a solution to his desire to find all answers easily and effectively. Let alone to memorize the content of the entire book.

So he asked his wise men to shorten the book of answers while still making sure all the answers are in the book.

The wise men diligently went to work on the new project. After completion, they presented the king with a single piece of paper on which all answers to all possible questions were written.

The king was elated to hold in his hands the answers to all questions on a single piece of paper. And it sure is wise and profound. Simply profound and profoundly simple is the way I love to express it.

The king looked at the paper and read: There is no such thing as a free lunch!

So! This simple sentence contains the answer to all possible questions. Its profound wisdom remains true today and always. Forever!

Let's internalize the wisdom. Take a moment to mediate on it. Take a deep breath through your nose and slowly let it go through your mouth. Feel the wisdom in the meaning. See the sentence written on the screen of your mind. Look at it mindfully while slowly breathing deeply.

Continue to do so until you start to soak up the wisdom. Feel the wisdom saturate your very being – all your cells and beyond ~ all the energy that you are. Allow yourself to experience the power of this wisdom. Let it sink and touch the real you. Know it. See it. Hear it. Feel it. Be it.

Continue to breathe and allow the wisdom to cut through the thick layers of mental resistance and get to that place of true knowing deep within you where silence resides and all creation starts. Allow yourself to be. Just be. Breathe and be.

After you do, you feel very powerful because you are. You have connected to your infinite power from within you. You are Divine.

I invite you to share with the world this powerful wisdom and graciously welcome you to come back and get even more of it. Next time I will show you how this sentence represents the wisdom of the Natural Laws of the Universe. Reward your beautiful soul by revisiting these laws here. Invite the world to do the same.

Bless you always in all ways,

Venus 🙂

  2. Isn't it amazing how volumes and volumes of books are written trying to explain what can be summarized in so few words.  Truth is like that.  It doesn't require words because it simply IS.
And thanks for sharing the pure fantasy of a world in which the King actually cares about the Truth.
    Cool post, Venus!

You put it so eloquently – truth simply is.

  3. Great post Venus !
Tremendous parable for what we are here to learn.  Is  true that energy is neutral and the universe responds perfectly to everything we vibrate, hence any free lunch will always be paid for at some stage.  I also like to think of our lives as the wisdom books that our souls are learning and growing from, gaining strength from, through each lifetime.  Truth simply is and there is no end to our learning and becoming….
Thank you for the wisdom teaching 🙂

  4. Aloha Venus,
I love the way you told a story to explain what could be a complicated concept!  And then you break it up into "bite size" pieces so we can all really take it in step by step!  You are such a master!
I love reading your posts because you have such finesse in the way you explain things.
    Thank you for your wisdom!

I love how simple and profound this answer to all our questions is.  Too many times we muddy the waters with what ifs and how comes.  Break it down and feel the truth.  A friend of mine breaks down religious discussions with this saying:  Do Unto Others as You Would Have Done Unto You.  He says if we follow that, everything else falls into place.  So true!
Thanks for sharing this simple, easy to follow truth,
    Val 🙂

    • Venus :) says:

      Dear Val,

It is so Divine – the truth is always simple and in plain side.
We just have to choose to use it.

Thank you for all your loving support,
      Venus 🙂

Oh Venus, you've done it again!  You took a parable and made it come to life.  Your messages are always full of great wisdom.  I am so proud to know you Venus.  This post is so cool!  I remember one thing my mother said to me when I was a confused teenager:  "To thine own self be true."  That resonated with me my whole life and became a foundation of who I am.
Thanks for sharing this with us.
